SPRING RECITAL

Performances will take place at the Mapleton Arts Center (MAC) 7480 N Broadway, Bldg 4, Denver, CO 80221.
All dancers in the MCDA program will participate in this wonderful experience!
Here are some of the unique highlights and other pertinent information regarding this year’s event:
*All participants will receive a quality costume and a recital t-shirt. The recital fee of $135 collected with your March Tuition (charged on February 16th) helps to support the production cost of the show including; your dancer’s costume, performance venue, sound, technical/support staff, dance instructors, and performance videography. Dancers enrolled in more than one class will be charged a $60 costume fee in April for each additional class.
*There will be three performances at this year’s event. Each show will feature our toddler through high school dancers, and each class will participate in one show. Your showtime will be posted in the coming months. We work hard to make sure families are consolidated into one show time if they are in multiple classes, but dancers/families in more than one class may have a dance(s) in each show.
*The required dress rehearsal will take place early on May 29th at the MAC. Each class will be given a specific arrival time to practice their performance in full costume and makeup. Each class should plan to be at the venue for 30 minutes for dress rehearsal.
*Tickets will be available for purchase beginning May 1st at 9am on the ticketing platform, TutuTix.
*Regular attendance promotes a successful performance. We ask parents to help us support their dancers by committing to consistent attendance as we learn new material each week leading up to the performance.

We are thrilled to have Jamie Kraus taking recital portraits during dress rehearsal this year! Click here to sign up for your recital portrait. Please note: you won’t sign up for a time slot, but you can arrive early or stay after your dress rehearsal time to take your portrait. Plan for 30 minutes in the theater (ex: if your arrival time is 2:15pm, you could be onstage anytime between 2:15-2:45pm).
All dancers will receive a complementary downloadable link to the videos of their performances.
